My chat buddy Jill & her family were going down to Guat and brought disposable cameras for us. Here are pics from their brief meeting at the Marriott. Her comment on my facebook was,
"my advice: Start pumping some iron because your daughter is SOLID!!"
Jackie with sisters Allie & Jeni. Jonathan and Jeni were adopted within a month of each other in 2004. Jill & I bonded in nightly chats while waiting and still chat today. It's been a privilege to pray with this family as Jeni has gone from being abandoned at 4 years old with an undiagnosed medical problem to a healthy, feisty 8 year old.
Jill's daughter-in-law & granddaughter Lillie took some time to play. What you can't see in the background is that Jeni is reuniting with some of many people part of her story, including her Godmother, first cousin, aunt, lawyer, and foster mother. What sweet memories for her!
