Foster Mom knows: Jackie IS indigenous

Another letter from our foster mom. We know for certain that Jackie is indigenous. Also, a friend from my b-board bought us 3 cameras and will leave them at the Marriott for the baby.

Kraft friends,

Thank you for caring about my daughter’s health. She celebrated her birthday March 25th, she is now twelve years old and the operation went very well, her wounds are healing little by little. Thursday March 27 they changed her cast and we could see her foot. She has three very large wounds as well as two screws in part of her heel. The doctor said she will have to keep the cast on for two and a half months if all goes well. They operated on her last year, but the recovery was very slow due to a strong infection on the bottom of her foot; we are trusting in GOD that this time it will be different.

In regards to the question you asked about Jaquie, yes, she is 100 % indigenous. Julie is an indigenous woman that hardly speaks Spanish. As a result I couldn’t even communicate with her the last three times that I saw her, she only speaks her regional dialect; she lives in a village very far away where they lack the most basic amenities (services).

I hope that the baby’s paperwork is finished soon so that you can meet her in person and see how beautiful she is. She smiles all of the time and she talks a lot. She is now eating cooked and/or blended vegetables (potatoes, carrots, squash, etc.) and fruits. She also likes Gerber: sweet preserves/stew and cooked chicken.

I only live ten minutes from the Marriot, so it’s not a problem for me to meet your friends, I will wait to hear from you with the instructions.

May God always bless your lives. Hugs and a kiss to Jonathan
