The response on the Guatemala board was far more appreciative and encouraging! Kathy H and I have been friends for three and a half years. She gave me a gold star.

That's more like it!
My b-board girls give me support when I need it and share in my joy at every milestone I share, whether big or small. I have had the privilege of meeting many of them....let's see ...
Rachel carried a package to Jonathan when he was 3 mos.
Myra and I met at the International Adoption Potluck
Vicki & Roy and I had play dates and keep in touch.
Carrie & Alan when she drove past.
Mai I know in real life.
Deb and I met up at a hotel when she was in for a conference.
Jenny & Richard & lil Gracie touched US soil at my airport.
Anita & Billy are family. I always *knew* she'd be on my board someday!
Jill and I will meet at the airport next month.
I have talked to Shelia, Lisa, Angela, & Kristen at least once if not more. There are a few I have chatted with so much that I feel like I 'know' them: Kathy, Pam, & Andrea. I know each woman has laughed with me, grieved with me, and most importantly prayed for me. It's a unique extended family that I cherish!
Well, I gotta say I'm a teensy bit nervous about having to moderate heated arguments on the board. I just so happen to be reading about being an Assertive Christian for my Stephen Ministry training, which seemed so appropriate. "Sticks and stones..." right?
