Kraft Bed & Breakfast is OPEN!!
Our finished basement is now guest-ready with a king size bed and lots of toys to play with if you get bored in the middle of the night. Upstairs we have an extra queen size bed and Jonathan will gladly give up his twin any day to sleep in his new SpiderMan air mattress that Aunt Alison found for him. You are welcome to drop by for a while to visit all the fun museums and monuments in D.C.

12th: Ian & Alison came for a long weekend and the HSLDA staff party. Adan (2.5) and Jon were instant re-friends. Jonathan is pretty impressed that he was Adan's very first friend when he arrived home as a newborn. Can't wait to see them back in town this summer! This picture with Adan in it cracks me up. Whatta ham.

14th: Missionaries to Spain, Brad & Lindsey Bridges are with us this week while fundraising. With the Lord's provisioning, they hope to move to Uruguay for a year of training in church planting with other CAM International missionaries. We have been honored to be part of their journey...from sharing in their final years of seminary, to reducing their Earthly possessions to a 5'x8' storage area and some suitcases, and now on towards the field. Sunday Brad preached at our church and on Monday we hosted a Christmas cookie party so they could share their ministry with some of our church-family and friends. We pray they added prayer partners and faithful monthly supports. Want to keep up with their journey? Add them as friends in facebook or go to bradandlindsey.com

10th: The 10th was my birthday and MAN do I have some rocking awesome friends! Deb arrived with a Starbucks latte when dropping off her baby for the day. Amy T. knocked with a practical gift: a non-stick, dishwasher-safe frying pan--something we had just talked about me needing! How thoughtful--from one practical gifter to another! Mai came for a playdate and a gift from Guatemala. Elaine and Leighera later showed up unexpectedly with some dessert, party hats, and balloons in my favorite color. That evening E babysat so I could go to the church townhall meeting where we started a continuing discussion on values and we ended the evening with an appetizer plate at TGI Fridays. I also made my third attempt for a Christmas picture and still didn't get a real winner. hrrmpf

15th: Jackie *finally* had her one year old check-up, two months late. At one point, I think she was way up in the 90th percentile on weight and below 50th percentile in height. That is pretty much the stats of a Butterball Turkey. LOL!!! She is now about 24lbs and 30 inches. She's perfectly proportioned at the 70th percentile. It's all that toddling around she does now that she's on the go! go! go!
