Huge blessing, new bed!

God is amazing. He provides for us in ways that show that he is our true God, who knows are needs, and can provide for us abundantly with more than we can ask or imagine. I (Carrie) responded to a Craiglist post about a free king size bed a couple used only a few weeks before the wife needed a special bed for her back. Out of 300 emails, a man we later found out is on the board of a church with close ties to our former church in Arlington, chose us to receive the mattress, box springs, and frame. Wow!

The joke is that we bought a cheap mattress, intending to replace it after a few years. In 11 years, it went from looking like two side by side tacos, to two burritos, and now once we're in, it's more like a whole taco bowl. Praise the Lord! We've saved up $$ for a new one twice...once it went to taxes...the other time paid to bring Jackie home. With me at home this year, there is no way we'd afford such a nice bed. This mattress is luxurious!!!
