And a great "Get Out of PGN" verse:
"I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth, praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord." Ps. 40:1-3
I'm a mom, an adoptee, a seminary wife, and lil on the wild side. Ok. Not really, but I like to think of myself that way. Well, maybe I don't. I'm indecisive or at least I think I am. I'll decide later.
Update: Now I am a blessed mom of TWO Guat-tots, a pastor's wife, and out of the classroom for a school year or two raising my kids and watching my friend's infant.

Why the name Jacqueline?
One question we hear a lot is how we chose the name Jacqueline. First let's pronounce it right. The middle 'que' is pronounced KWUH as in "JAK kwuh lin". Aaron doesn't "hear" the big difference between Jak-lin, Jak-uh-lin, and Jak-kwuh-lin, but those are 3 distinct names. Promise. If you aren't sure you are spelling it right, make sure you have an even 10 letters. That silent e in the middle que is easy to miss. Luckily saying Jackie is a no-brainer.
She is named after Mom who passed away from a typical cold turned pneumonia turned bizarre complications turned unfortunate medications/dosages turned respiratory distress she started the weekend she sat on a parent's advisory board forum for new parent the first week of my (Carrie's) sophomore year. Mom and I were very, very close and her passing devastated me then and still pains me at the oddest moments today ... when I smell Beautiful at the Estee Lauder counter, see figure skating on TV, or when I volunteer to bring cupcakes in for Jonathan's school just like she would have stayed up late bake.
