Mom Meets Jackie

Phew! Time is flying. Now that we are watching Deb and Charlie's boy while they work, Carrie is changing about 40 diapers a week. Aaron is burdened with at least 2, maybe 3 per week. How does THAT work?

Mom came to visit. She is, without a doubt, one of the greatest gifts to our lil family. Really. Oprah could do a whole show on her awesomeness. While here, she bought us more than a weeks worth of groceries and left us a stocked freezer of dinners. I'm defrosting a pan of Aaron's favorite Beefy Mac as I type.

While here she met Jackie for the first time.

She might kill me that I'm publicly posting a picture of her in her pj's but, come on, this picture is too cute not to share.

We spent a gorgeous Saturday at Mount Vernon. This was George Washington's home that today is about 30 minute drive from the city.

Jonathan is a Can Do kid. This is him taking a picture of us. It's centered and focused. Ok, so you can't really see George's home, but look at those pretty clouds.

Time to just relax together

Then she got to hear Aaron preach. How odd it must have been to hear some of our congregants tell her how much they enjoy "Pastor Kraft" preach. LOL You baby never stops being your baby, even when grown.

"Pastor Daddy" is preaching on the life of Christ in Mark through Thanksgiving.
