Christmas pictures and a letter from Foster Mom

Mira! Mira! Jackie has her first barrette! This picture is from a doctor's visit on the 18th. The butterfly onsie was from Grandma. The frilly socks came from ME! I remember being sad when it was no longer age appropriate for me to wear frilly socks and those frilly spankies under my dresses. I *heart* frilly socks!

I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! Jackie's foster mom emailed us!!! I don't think Jonathan's was even literate, so this was completely unexpected! Someone had said Jackie has one of her favorite foster moms. You can imagine how heart-warming it is to have assurance that our daughter is well cared for. We've heard horror stories of malnourished children developmentally delayed due to inadequate care.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. Ephesians 3:20

Hello family. My name is J. I am the fortunate person who is in charge of the care of your sweet baby girl. She is a girl who needs a lot of love – I know this because ever since she was born, she has cried a lot. Now she doesn’t cry as often because we have been praying for her and speaking to her soul, ministering love and peace to her heart. Now she is a girl that smiles all the time and is beginning to jabber, which means she is talking with me. I know that you long for the moment when you are with her, but until that great day comes, I want you to have confidence that she is in a home where she is very loved. I’m sorry that I can’t write to you very often, but I don’t have a computer in my house and I have to go to an internet café, but I will keep you informed every chance I get about Jaquie.

May God bless you today and always.

With love, J.
